Eight ambitious Trekkers and 2 Trip Leaders met at a Marriott Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh this morning to begin a 16 day, 300 mile adventure along the Allegheny Passage and C&O Bike Trails to Washington, DC. Along the way they will do Whitewater Rafting in Ohiopyle, PA, visit the F. L Wright Falling Water House, historic Harpers Ferry, and numerous Civil War sites, ending their ride with 2 days in Washington, D.C. Stay tuned for some wild and thrilling stories as they pedal south on this wonderful off-road adventure.
