Ferry Across Lake George for NY-Burlington Trekkers

Today began with an early morning start, as per usual. Then it was a relatively short bike ride over to the docking point of the Mohican, a converted steam ship that transported us all 32 miles across Lake George, saving everyone from a very long ride.  On the ride we all heard fun tidbits of information about the lake itself, the surrounding mountains, and the islands within. Upon leaving the ship a nice lunch was had in a lovely gazebo on the lake. After some confusion and some Uno we all rode our bikes to Walmart to pick up dinner, breakfast, and lunch for the following night and day.  Navarro had the absolutely brilliant idea to make tostadas, which due to a lack of corn tortillas at Walmart, ultimately turned into tacos, but overall were still heavenly and a wonderful way to end the day. Dinner was cooked and eaten on a pier overlooking lake Champlain while the sun set in the background.
