It’s time for some Teen Treks’ story-time. Often we hear from past trekkers who were significantly stamped by there bike touring experience with Teen Treks. They tell us how taking a bike trip inspired future travel adventures, a passion for taking care of the environment, an appreciation for diverse people and cultures, a new sense of independence, and the ability to work together and even lead in a group setting. But sometimes, we get to see how the impact made during a Teen Treks bike trip created a passion and vision for career.
That’s just what happened to past trekker and leader, Kyle Simpson who embarked on several treks with TT, but was most inspired on the Across America Trek. Biking 3,800 miles of roads coast-to-coast generated an interest in city planning and creating better multi-use transportation solutions within American infrastructure. Today, Kyle is a City Planner in the Parking & Transportation Dept. in St. Petersburg, Florida and he will be sharing his story tomorrow- Tuesday, March 1st at 7PM EST as a part of Teen Treks Edu Series Virtual Events. Invite your favorite trekker and tune in for an inspiring story-time!
