Albany night 1 The NYM trekkers woke up bright and early for the 22 mile ride into Albany. A few more hills were the only thing standing in between us and our hotel beds and warm showers. Along the way we stopped to buy some farm-fresh strawberries to tide us over for lunch. Cruising in around 11, we made a beeline for the capitol building for our 12 o’clock tour of the historic structure. Following our tour we had a light lunch, then checked into our hotel and had a siesta. Finally we finished out our day with a delicious dinner at Pho Yum, a Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Albany and some tubs if ice cream. Tomorrow we plan to explore more of New York’s capital and check out some more interesting food spots.
