Today we got to sleep in which was really exciting. We had a homemade pancake breakfast made by chef Leo. Then we biked 10 miles and pulled off in Meyersdale and had a sit down meal at the White House Restaurant which was AMAZING. We even had cake after! We played music the whole trip too which was fun. Then we biked 10 more miles and made it to the Mason Dixon Line. Right when we crossed, “Gonna Fly Now” started playing and we felt victorious. We had 20 miles of down hill riding where we just coasted and went through the Savage Tunnel and blasted “Eye of the Tiger”. We met some bikers that were riding 4,000 miles but they had a van following them so they were amazed and told us how hardcore we were. Another guy on the trail also gave a motivational talk and told us Trekkers how successful we would all be when we grow up and reminded us of Oprah. Then we went to our campsite along the trail after grocery shopping and had salads and black bean or chicken quesadillas and finished the evening with a campfire. I think it was our best day so far.
