With the help of tail winds and high spirits, we were able to cover 82 miles today! This included a lunch break at the Stonehenge replica with cascading views of the Washington/Oregon border. With the sun scorching down on us, ice cream and a swim break were a necessary addition to our winding trek alongside the Columbia River. Finally, the group pitched our tents at a welcoming RV park which treated us kindly to free hot dogs, ribs and other goodies! Til next time…
