Today was our last day in Amsterdam, it was also our first day of full biking. We woke up at 7:30 a.m. and ate breakfast, loaded up our bikes and hit the road. We biked for a little while before taking a break. We shopped at a grocery store for a picnic lunch. We biked for a little bit further like 8 miles to the city of Haarlem. There we took a tour of the Corrie Ten Boom house and walked around the old church, also getting to see a Suriname drum/brass parade which happened to be passing around the Grote Market. After that we biked some more. After eating a Döner dinner which was good we got to our campsite. We unloaded our bikes for the night and set up the tents. A funny thing that happened today was Jamie and Lis talking to a Dutch person and not really being able to communicate so they said ‘yeah’ a lot. Today was a great day I can’t wait for more.
