Today started out early in a Boston hostel with Ben, Juliet, Jason and Rabeka. We ate some fast breakfast and left to go meet Lena and catch the 8:30 ferry to Provincetown (leaving Rabeka behind to collect Max, Dylan and Tessa!). The first gang arrived in Provincetown and headed to the bike shop for some tuning up, then grocery shopped at the fabulous Stop n Shop. We made and ate sandwiches by the beach (beautiful) and then biked through Provincetown historic district, which was bustling and colorful. We locked our bikes to walk around the downtown area, and had a great time! We saw some drag performers, bought a deck of cards and ate ice cream. We then biked around the bike paths in the area, which was beautiful. We then happened upon the Provincetown Causeway, a rock bridge that spans the peat wetlands. We took a 30 minute walk from one side to the other, played cards, and headed back. It was so beautiful and really rewarding! We then biked to our campsite in the rain and played cards until the other group joined us at around 8. We made dinner in the dark and had a fun game of introductions. Ready for tomorrow!
